![]() ![]() Around here, Craigslist is a complete bust unless you're really selling something cheap (everyone's looking for a deal), and even then, the higher priced items seem to be moving really, really slowly (pretty much everything I've seen on CL lately for more than $500 has been posted for 3-4 months now - even some pretty screaming deals). Fender,Schematics, Amps, Amplifiers, Tubes, Valves, Bandmaster, Bandmaster Reverb, Bantam Bass, Bassman, Bronco, Champion, Champ, Vibro Champ, Concert, Deluxe, Deluxe. I don't know what your market is locally. I had it up on Craigslist for at least a two months, down to $550 before I got tired of dealing with flakes and lowballers and I just traded it in for the Flint. Their view was that it was worth around $600-$650 for a quick sale, could get up to $725 if you held out (mine was in very good condition, stock, no mods). I had a heck of a time selling mine and wound up selling it to a local music shop that specializes in vintage Fender amps (actually traded it for a Flint ). 3x10 57 Bandmaster 1x15 53 Bassman 4x10 65 Super Reverb. I had one, but sold it when I got my Mesa TA-15 (I really don't need 40 watts and wanted something with two channels). Fender Collection 2 captures the vintage vibe, feel and sound of Fenders classic amps. #65 FENDER BANDMASTER PRO#I really don't think it's worth monkeying around with. Replacement filter choke for Fender Bassman, Bandmaster, Concert, Showman, Dual Showman, Pro Reverb, Super Reverb, Twin Reverb, Vibroverb, etc. I cannot recommend it for higher gain overdrive (either rhythm or lead), since the bass signal gets too flubbery. Missing the metal clip bars on the bottom of the head and the cabinet has been fitted with a replaced pair of Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. We all know that Jim Marshall basically copied a Fender Bassman when he had his first amp designed, so in that way Eddies famed Marshall amps are. If I were to resurrect this design for the production of a modern amp, it would be specifically for its lovely round blackface fender cleans of this amp, and gentle over-driven tones. However, Im pretty sure its a late 65/early 66 head on a Bandmaster cabinet based on some date codes and some comments from members on a different forum. ![]() Simply put, there’s really nothing quite like the pure, powerful sound of a Fender tube amplifier. #65 FENDER BANDMASTER MODS#Here are some of the mods you can do to one: 1966 Fender Bandmaster A classic Fender piggy-back amp This amp sounds excellent and is in very good condition showing only light signs of wear. It was advertised as a 64 Tremolux on a Showman cabinet. Today, the ’65 Deluxe Reverb is still one of the coolest amps around, with the fantastic sound and vintage mid-’60s style still prized by rock, blues and country players everywhere. ![]()
